Apartments and world areas

Hi

Some of my apartments in San Myshuno are not working properly. They have a white square over them . If i go to move my sim out the only option is to sell the business , but its not a business just an apartment. If I do sell it the Sim vanishes without a trace . I can move them out through the manage households option but there are so many apartments I can no longer play. This happened after an update . I cant remember which one but recently.

After the last update of the sims launcher i can no longer play certain areas of San Sequoia all the lots in Anchorpoint Wharf and all the lots in Hopewell Hills go to loading screen and it loads forever so have to close the game. 

I have removed all mods and this did not resolve either issue ..any help welcome
