This thread is to inform you of the current status of the gallery and also to give you some tips you can try if you can't access the gallery although it's supposed to be online. If you can't solve...

Same here. It just takes forever to connect.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.69.59.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to connect to the Gallery online
What happens when the bug occurs? Game takes ages to load and no online connection is available
What do you expect to see? Game starts as usual fast and the News Page and Gallery Load up.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Have not been able to connect to Gallery in UK for the whole day.

@MickRonson I am having a similar problem in the US. The game is loading fine but it will NOT connect to the Gallery. I have tried everything I can think of ( Removing mods, repairing the game, Restarting my computer, checking network connection, Etc...) Nothing works. Hope they can fix this soon. I am annoyed.

  Same here. Its been over a month since the gallery last connected to the internet. I have tried EVERY troubleshooting/work around that the internet had to offer and i know it isnt my internet because everything else works fine. Its so frustrating.

I'm also in the UK and have been having this problem all day, as well as some friends in South Africa were also telling me that they were having the same issues.

@MickRonson I'm in the US and was having this exact problem but when I turned the game and my computer off for a few hours and turned it all back on, I could connect. I'm not sure this would help everyone but it seems to be a pretty widespread problem and I'm expecting it to happen to me again. I have all mods and cc disabled in my game, its all up to date, my computer can handle this game no problem.

  I turn my laptop off for hours twice a day, and when I experienced the problem, it made no difference. I still couldn't connect when I'd turn it back on. I'm glad that helped you though.
