Ashamed in mud bath

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Let your Sim visit a spa center and see a stranger in a mud bath.
What happens when the bug occurs? Your Sim will be embarrassed. This should not happen because Sims in mud baths are wearing bathing suits.
What do you expect to see? No embarrassement.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I'm not sure if this has happened since the release of Spa Day - perhaps not because even the video trailer shows mud bathing as a group activity. It is in any case absurd and makes playing spa centers quite difficult. Embarrassement because of seeing each other nude or in bathing suits should be generally turned off for spas and community pools.

  • I think it has always been like this and the baths are just using regular bath rules.

Can’t really do much though, as I wouldn’t like shame turned off at spas. Don’t want some stranger walking in and getting a naked aromatherapy bath while my teen in in there getting a mud bath.

I just see those premade spas with dual baths as for couples with significant others. Works great when two sims who don’t mind sharing bathrooms go in there.

To prevent townie shame from random strangers though maybe I’d redesign the room to put up a screen between baths.

I like the idea of couples taking baths together but it’s only visual as they can’t multitask and talk with each other while they are bathing.

That's a good idea, I will try if paravents reduce the problem.

Nevertheless I find this issue annoying because there is no real way to prevent it. Even if you put all tubs in single rooms other Sims will occasionally walk in. Temporarily locking doors on community lots is also not practical.

They designed a "shame-free shower" for Spa Day (and for OR), perhaps they could also make one bathtub model shame-free.
