I have been playing and got to a point where my two sims should have already been able to ask to be girlfriend/boyfriend, friendship is maximum and romantic is almost there. I looked everywhere and I see no option for ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend?
@luthienrising im having the same issue - took all my mods out and I am STILL not getting the option to propose. Help!
@LittleNeopet Since the other person hasn't come back, I'll move you all to Game Issues for support there. It's for mod-free support (or stuff found not to be mod related).
Propose is under the new Relationship submenu if the Sims are Partners with each other and neither Sim is married. (Partner has replaced Boyfriend and Girlfriend.) I'm not sure whether Propose will appear if one or both of the Sims is married, but it should be grayed out if it does.

What do you expect to see? to have the bff option

my sims game wont let me become bffs
Is anyone else having this boy where you literally can't ask another sim to go steady. I started a new save yesterday and since then I haven't been able to ask. The two sims in question have half friendship and half romance. I'm so confused. I need this to get fixed before playing to much as I am playing a challenge. It really sucks to not be able to do this one action as it prevents them from getting married as well.
Ever since Lovestruck was released I do not see the option to ask to be girlfriend/boyfriend or ask to propose or ask to break up. Have those socials been removed? If not, where are they as my Sims have a high enough romance/relationship bar? Is it tied to the romance skill? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Ask to be Boyfriend/Girlfriend has been changed to Ask to be Romantic Partner, under the new Relationship submenu. That's also where you'll find Propose and Break Up.
