Build mode not working 8/24/2024

Its doing this to me as well but the save/lot ive been working on for months without any issues it is only recently with the new updates that I am getting this problem. I deleted the cache and it worked for about two placements before it stops again. I have no cc or mods. So I'm going to try a complete wipe I will make a back up and clear away everything and start over completely without restoring any of my saves and if that doesn't work then i dont know whats left.
Managed to fix it but my sim cant write novels now...
How I did it
1 Cleared the cache (localthumbcache)
2 Went into the game and deleted my downloaded gallery items
3 Went out of the game and back into files and cleared out any junk files/caches
4 Cleared the EA app cache
5 Uninstalled and reinstalled
6 Ran a game repair
7 Put my save file back in the saves folder
8 Ran another game repair
9 Went back into the game and opened a test file
10 Did 2 build lots noted entering build from play mode was still glitching
11 Deleted last remaining gallery linked lots or unlinked them from gallery
12 Went and retested in test file - no issue
13 Tested main save - no issue
14 Exited game again and redeleted localthumbcache and ran repair
It took awhile but I have not reencountered the issue just the usual glitches left. Honestly none of us should have to do this... Oh yeah check your content and tray files as well for junk and any downloaded stuff it could also be a cause if linked to the gallery.
