Apparently this is by design, for performance reasons.

What happens when the bug occurs? Items are too shadowy
What do you expect to see? Visible furniture
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
A problem with seasons that I have had for a long time is the shadows on some objects. When you put them in a room they are very dark. This does not seem normal to me since I did not have this problem with any other pack...
