Can’t cancel acting audition

My sim had an acting audition on Monday at 7:00 pm, he missed it because a sim died on the lot he was on and he wouldn’t leave. I got the notification that he failed the audition, but on his job panel, it still says he has an audition at 7:00 pm on Monday. It’s Tuesday. On the calendar, it also says that he has a gig on Wednesday for the audition that he already failed. Tried to cancel the audition, both through the phone and the job panel, neither worked. Tried quitting the career and joining it again, didn’t work either. Now he’s just stuck with this permanent audition.

EDIT: Was able to find a solution! Testing cheats on, shift + click on sim, choose career gigs picker, pick a new gig. It replaced the broken audition, then I cancelled the new one, and the original is gone so he can pick new auditions again.
