Can’t get kids/teens to Get better grades

I’ve been trying my first attempt at the 100 baby challenge but it is taking me forever  to get my kids and teens to get the grade A so that I can age them up. I meet all the requirements under the school/career tab. I make sure they go to school in a good mood and usually while they are at school I send them to “make friends” unless one of the other options seems to be giving me better results! I don’t know what’s going wrong or if it’s just a glitch!!! HELP.

  • @htlacy  Try telling the kids to "study hard" instead.  And of course they need to do their homework as well.

It also allarently helps if the kids are focused when they "leave" for school.

I've tried having them study hard. sometimes it helps sometimes it actually makes their performance go down. And I always have them complete their homework before they go to school, and extra credit if they are able to. But thanks for your advice!

  • @htlacyYou should also pay notice to the extra projects that the kids take home after school. In their inventory you will find an open box. Take this box out and let them start diligent. Parents are able to help the kids with these extra projects.
It could well be that you have mist these extra projects. When your kid do not finish them in time, their scores will go down.

@htlacy , you can tell them to "Study Hard" like @puzzlezaddict  mentioned, of course.  However, I never do this because it can stress them out.  Instead I have them work normally (and only make friends once they are an "A" student) and do their homework every evening!  (While it helps them do their homework faster if an Adult Sim can help with their homework, I realize that this is probably next to impossible with the 100 Baby Challenge.)

This will still take several days to get their grades up, but it always works for me! 🙂 I don't even worry too much about their mood when they go to school anymore.

Also, like @Trismagistos stated , there is a project that they can do that they bring home once a week on Mondays (or you can buy them in Build/Buy Mode) and if they finish that it will give a big boost to their grades. 🙌 However, this only is available if you have the Parenthood Game Pack.  😉

Feel free to update us on your Sim Students' progress! 😇

  • @htlacy Again not sure in regards how this would side well with the challenge you’re doing , but see what their personality traits are and max out their skills to their personality , you can do this by doing multiple projects in a day or after school activities and they should have no problem getting to an A and certain objects will give off moodlets to speed up the process and help their emotions not diminish so quickly . Happy simming , hope you complete your challenge 🙂

@htlacy , I forgot to mention that there is a Lot Trait that can help with kid's grades for school. It is called "Good Schools".🙂  Just go into Build/Buy Mode and in the upper Left corner there is a house icon with the letter "i" on it ... click on that and then click on the hexagon with the question mark in it called "Traits Panel" and then scroll down until you find the Good Schools trait (looks like a stack of books)! 🙌
