Can't get city living pack to work

I recently downloaded the sims city living and I am unable to access any of the places in the city.  None of the buildings have titles, they just display a blank white bar when I hover over them. When I click anywhere in the city, nothing happens. How do I get this pack to work?

I do not but I think I figured out what it was. I can load a new sim to live in the city living world, but I can't get an existing sim to visit there like my other cities. Maybe I just didn't know enough about the pack to know it's not a "visitable" city. interesting...

There's def an issue in your save game. You can visit any Sims there.

Are you using mods/cc ? If so start a new save for testing purposes, does it look the same ?

What you said about the apartments displaying blank white bars shouldn't happen.  There should be several lines of text there and a portrait of the sims that live there if sims are already occupying the apartment.  Since you also said that you downloaded the pack recently, you may have had some sort of internet hiccup during the download which interrupted the download, corrupting a file.  To fix that, try running a repair via the EA App or Origin if you are one the Mac OS players still using Origin.
