Can't load a specific building

Hello. I have a save file where I replaced the high school building included in the game pack with one I downloaded from the gallery. It worked fine until recently, now when I want to follow my sims to school there is an infinite loading screen. I've tested this with another save file and with the original high school building, and it works correctly. I don't use mods or custom content, so that's not the issue. I've tried accessing the problematic high school building directly in the world to bulldoze it, but that also results in an infinite loading screen. I'm unsure how to resolve this.
