CAS - maxis make-up dissapears

do the buttons not show up or the makeup on the Sims ?

the make-up doesn't show up. I can see my downloaded cc but nothing from maxis. Base game or packs. Only for make-up. Clothing, hair, accessories,... are working as usual

Did you get a chance to test a new folder and still have issues ?

I did all the steps for repairing the game, new save file, loading without mods/cc. Maxis make-up is still missing. That's why I thought it might've been a bug or something?

Could you maybe add a pic how it looks ?

Do you get any exceptions ? Like an LastUIException in your doc folder ?

I’ve waited to reply after this latest update but unfortunately no changes. I’ve tried adding a picture but I don’t seem to be able to send it…

I’ll try to describe it the best I can: Even with a new game, without any cc or mods, the EA make-up is gone. Accessories, tattoos, hats, clothes etc are there. Just the make-up. No filters.

The pic might be too big to upload. You can also upload it to a file sharing site and link.

Can you try making a new windows user on your PC and check if it works there ?

small update: I got so sick of it that I just deleted the game &reinstalled it. The make-up was there and then I added all my mods and cc and it stayed. 
So I still have no idea what caused it but at least it solved.
