I will see if I can buy them, yes as soon as it happened I uninstalled MCCC. And tried 3 more time. I know that when things don't work you turn off mods. That's always the first thing you should try.

I'm having the exact same problem as you, keeps saying I've got the museum shard in my inventory but I don't. I made an entire new base game save with mods off and deleted the accountdataDB package but it still got stuck on that part of the event. Did you ever find a workaround?
