EA Staff (Retired)After talking to a few people, I can confirm this issue is by design. If you're getting an invite to go hang out on a community lot with a complete stranger, that would be an issue, but just a club invite is by design. I believe the intent was to help surface the new feature (just my personal opinion though). I'd recommend posting about this in our Feedback forum, as our designers/producers peruse this space: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/categories/the-sims-4-feedback
