Constant Anger or Sad Moodlet
I have not played Sims 4 in several years, however, I have kept it up to date and added new games despite not playing as I enjoy the game. Recently, I have started playing more and enjoy the new aspe...
I thought this was part of an angry sim problem they had fixed, but here I am in December, trying to play the game after a bit of an hiatus, and it's just unbearable. Same thing, where my sim is constantly angry and sad, only I didn't want a short tempered, depressed, sim. This is not how I want to play, noted that I've never been able to do it "my way" but it's become even less and less so... fun building/decorating game to putter with now and then, but miss having a sims game I can play. Hope it get's fixed, and this is just one of a few problems I been having with it.
Note: I am on PC and use mods.
What helped for me was modding the absolute heck out of my game.
1. Bosselady has a "better wants and fears" mod that makes fears harder to get.
2. Tears of Tyr has a mod that will disable individual fears or all fears. I'm using it to disable Fear of Dead End Job (because every single Sim in every single household got that every single time they went to work and if I never see it again it'll be too soon!), Fear of Death (because every single elder gets it, and... both too real and annoyingly repetitive?), Fear of Unfulfilled Dreams because it makes me homicidal (every time I see it I literally swear at my Sim and inform them I will murder them in their sleep), and Fear of Being Cheated On (because every single Sim who woohooed got that right after woohooing--I think that was mod-related, but I don't play with infidelity anyway unless it's for a storyline, which is rare). I left the others on because they're not things I see on Every. Single. Sim. and therefore might want to try them out and see if I like them?
3. Bienchen's Whim Overhaul updated for Wants (although I get a couple of LEs from it on pet-related whims).
3. MissyHissy's custom wants and Personality and Hobby mods.
Honestly, I'm having fun but I feel bad for our players who can't or won't use mods, like our console players, because... yeah. I find the unmodded system incredibly frustrating.
(I also used MC Command Center to disable autonomous mean actions, so... I never saw that bug, either.)
