continuous fire despite no items being used to create/start fire?

Hello! I just updated my game today (2/29/24) and it seems like every day in the game at least one fire is suddenly in my game. It has happened multiple times while my sims were sleeping, and it even killed a sim's relative. I have no clue how to stop this and I'm afraid my legacy save may be in danger because of it.

@pikeotto are these kitchen fires or do other objects catch fire ?

@pikeotto My fires start when either I am using a small appliance, or if I have the jewelry that spawns simoleons or crystals!

@worzi133 Do you own for rent and did you have any cursed book events ? Any fear of fire ?

EA deleted my game because they can't fix the problem! why are these problems issues bugs do they not have competent programmers, or are they just harassing me?

@worzi133 The whole game is not in your library anymore ? What platform are you on ?

That's right I started my EA app and the game wasn't there, so I deleted the entire app and all the games, I am not allowing an outside entity to modify my system!. PC

Do you play The Sims through the EA app, or through Steam?

@EA_Solaire I used to use the EA app, but I am sure my mental health will suffer far less cognitive dissonance wasting my time trying to get a game to work properly!
