crashing in the middle of build

I have no mods own everything in the game, use EA cheat codes, and i lose everything because the game crashes. First anyone else have this issue? Second, why for the love of God has EA not put an auto save on Sims 4? Or am I missing it? And finally how the heck do I fix this? Any help would be awesome!!
