Created households not showing up on high school?

I can't get my other played sims to show up at the high school in High School Years.

This is really annoying as it's limiting customisation - I don't want the current students to be the only ones that show up.

Please can someone help? Is there a way to spawn your other played sims within the same save?

I tried deleting a bunch of the other households with teens to limit the rotation of random teen sims that would show up but every day a new townie household with teens will spawn in its place. So not really helping, but I haven’t yet tried to age up teen sims I don’t want in the school.

@CallMeSuperboy I think there's a setting to where you can turn off the random sims being generated. Try that and tell me how that works for you! yeah thats a good idea, i might try that too

    @CallMeSuperboy To make a household inactive or unplayed go to neighbourhood view and click on the household in question. The at the bottom right of the screen click on the 3 dots and click on Manage Household - then click on the green plumbob to "Make Household Unplayed".
    I'm also trying to solve his problem - making the household unplayed alone is not enough, so I'm going to try deleting some teens in the world and see if I can get my own created sims to attend high school with my played sim.
