Daily task not actionable

My Sim is a Student Services Officer in the education career and the daily task of "Review budget proposal" is nowhere to be found. There is nothing in the inventory or on the pc that allows the task...

If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
