Delete off the lot trees?

Is there anyway to delete off lot trees?
gameplay issue

    @shedaboss1Hi!  You can only delete the trees that are within the bounds of the editable lot.  When you're in build buy mode, you can see them within the grid. Here's an example from Willow Creek's Brook Bungalow lot

    In this image, you can see the circled tree is within the lot's grid.


    I can delete that one but I can't delete the pink trees outside the lot grid.

    Edit: In The Sims 3, there is an Edit World option which allows you to change the terrain, delete trees, add lots, etc.  Unfortunately, there is no Edit World option in TS4.

OK thanks....I was looking to delete some trees that were outside of the lot. This was my last try at finding out if possible or not. I exhausted everywhere else. So now I know. Appreciate your time tho!

Yeah, I tried to plant the Magical Plant Sim Tree at the Goth House by clearing out the front garden...

...and it spawned in the sidewalk/street, where I couldn't get to it, blocking traffic, etc.

I hear there are mods/cheats that might help for that particular situation (TOOL, etc.) but I ended up rolling back a save and just not growing the tree.

    I don't use TOOL but I'm curious if it deletes the "world" trees (maybe other world items as well?).  :-)

      @JonaO703  I honestly don't know the answer to that! but I think it would have deleted my misplaced PlantSim portal tree, or at least moved it somewhere more harmonious than blocking the sidewalk...

      Seems don’t work, only items which you placed in the open world with T.O.O.L., can be delete. I wish we would have a little more customize options in worlds. I would love to place a fishing spot at the Wakaba River(Mt. Komorebi)
