Dine Out Food Won't Appear on tables when delivered

I haven't been able to find a post which lists this issue which I am having with Dine Out.  Basically, I've found when going to a restaurant my sims are able to order their food and the waiter comes...

I just purchased the Dine Out pack and literally ran into this same problem. I have not figured it out yet but I am definitely about to try and diagnose it. I ordered twice to be sure it wasn’t because my guy got up from the table. They just paid for two dinners to have an unsuccessful date. lol

@dolamae84 Do you have children's drawings on the table ? Not sure if I'm seeing this correctly on your screenshot.

If so, try removing them and see if it then works.
