Dining out Broken

Hello I wondered if anyone has any suggestions to how I might fix dining out, It's totally broken for me, when I visit there is no NPC to host or cook or sever, also if I buy a retail I can hire staff but when I click open noting happens, I have reported this as a bug but nothing is being said I think it's gone cold no one else seems to be having this issue.

I am on xbox next gen so I have no mods nor can I use any. I own all pack apart from adventure and fairy pack and a few kits. I have uninstalled and re uninstalled but nothing seems to work if anyone has a any ideas what I could do I would appreciate it because I miss dining out so much it's a big part of my game play.

    classybananasala​ its so odd sometimes  a restaurant will work and then other times it wont. I feel like there is defo something wrong here. I'm on xbox so it's hard to just take photos I need to load them on the pc, but yeah I do need to keep reporting in the hope it will be looked at.

    Ah no :( def keep commenting to bump the bug report (rather than this gameplay thread) if it's happening in new saves.

    If it's a fresh save, and you own the restaurant, maybe take a screenshot or note the names of any premade employees who don't show too - I just had an instance where the game suggested I hire Raheel Kunal, but he's a "special" NPC sim from Adventure Awaits and he never showed up. So that's a bug where the game seems to let you hire sims who the game doesn't let do the job.

    classybananasala​ This happens with both normal restaurants and ones that owned and no I was not hiring sages they was normal people from other households sadly this is now happing in my new saved game, so its defo a bug within the game

    It is both NPC and when I own ether way there is no staff, I am hiring normal sims from the list, if I own. But if I go on date or just take family out to dinner there is no staff😪

    Is the broken restaurant your sim's restaurant or an unowned lot?

    If it's your restaurant, who did you try hire who didn't show up? I found a bug where the game kept suggesting I hire the Realm of Magic sages (Morgyn Ember, L. Faba, Simeon Silversweater), but they're blacklisted in the code to actually work there once hired. So make sure you're not hiring sages!
