[DO] [ROM] Sages replaced by other Sims when hired in restaurant

which world is your restaurant in ? Does that matter ?

Does it happen with Sims that aren't premades ?

The restaurant was in Newcrest, but I just tested it again in Glimmerbrook and other worlds too and same issue - Minerva Charm showed up for the sage chef, and nobody turned up to be the host/waiter when I hired sages.

I haven't tested with all the other special NPCs to say it's a Realm of Magic issue only, but at this stage Care Ren and Todd from EBN and any randomly generated sims I hired showed up as expected.

The sages definitely do NOT show up if hired, and they are ALWAYS in the pool to hire from in a fresh save. Even after I downloaded 40 townies from the gallery, the sages are still there.

I've just had a look at the employee filters using S4S. The MagicSage traits are not blacklisted in potential employees:

• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Chef
• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Host
• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Waiter
• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Chef_Repurpose
• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Host_Repurpose
• filter_OwnableRestaurants_PotentialEmployees_Waiter_Repurpose

This is the issue. Because the MagicSage traits ARE blacklisted in:

• filter_Chef_Restaurant.SimFilterTuning
• filter_Host_Restaurant.SimFilterTuning
• filter_Waiter_Restaurant.SimFilterTuning

Update: It's not just Sages! The game just let me hire Raheel Kunal, the special NPC from Adventure Awaits, but he doesn't show up for work.

So it seems the game is letting us hire a few types of sims who the game won't allow to do the job.

It's frustrating that they take up valuable space in the "available for hire" pool.
