I did not buy that add-on so that I could be [Edit - Admin.] with every single character with this. Frankly, I only wanted the extra content, so I bought it on sale.
How can I either disable the vampires or disable that add-on?
I find it cool that I can disable the fame-gain, but I cannot find how to disable the vampires.
Unless you choose to live on the vampire map and do not create any vampires you will see three Vampires. The Count (evil) and the Vattores (good) that is it. If you choose to disallow vampires on the frontdoor you wont have any break-ins from the count and you can choose to socialize with the Vattores or not as you like. They will not attack you.
@ThatCraigGirl Edit: Apologies. I should've addressed your main request before adding my suggestions. You can disable any pack, just keep in mind that this will remove all items you have used from that pack. Please see the below for how to disable packs and also pay attention to the warnings.

Also, I agree that we should just have an option to disable vampires. In Sims 3, we could choose which supernaturals to include.
Hi! I know exactly what you mean. When I first got the Vampires pack, I immediately regretted it. lol I don't want all these vampires! I actually disabled the whole pack for a while. This is the only way to disable Vampires but it also removes the rest of the pack content. Eventually, I reenabled the pack because I wanted the CAS and BB items and I just learned to live with it. I have seen some game generated NPC vampires aside from the premade Count and Vatore vampires. However, in my experience, the Count is the only one that has attacked my sims (through an overnight break in when my sims go to bed by 10 pm consistently). Otherwise, you may not even know there are other vampires in the game. You may occasionally see the bat or smoky (I forgot what it's called) travel animation but that's about it. In addition to the suggestions by @GiardiniDiMarzo and @jpkarlsen , you could go into Manage Households and just delete Count Vladislaus, if you're worried about him attacking your sims.
If you're able and willing to use mods, MC Command Center has a "humanize all vampires" option, and Twisted Mexi has a "no vampires" mod as well.
That said, I agree that the only vampire that's ever attacked any of my Sims is Vlad.
I only bought it for the content. So, everyone wants to write something, but no one has anything sensible to say. Thanks. EA needs to code this like Sims 3, to allow disabling of vampires in the game options. I maybe didn't make that clear. I am not a person to screw around looking for work-arounds. I work for a 3D software company. I've seen past solutions with the Sims' games. I expect something simple. I'll be sure not to bother wíth any other add-ons, and disable this one.
There's no need to be rude. The people replying are players just like you who are offering their advice relevant to your query. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's a solution you like but you don't need to take your frustrations out on people who can do absolutely nothing about that. I agree that there should be an option but I doubt it will happen this many years since the pack came out.

Unfortunately, the game isn't coded like that and, since we're all just other players, we can't update the game for you to work that way. I'm sorry that answer doesn't meet your expectations.
