Ecolife: Career-locking furniture repair

Just some feedback after just buying the pack.

I was very disappointed to find out that the furniture repair was gated behind the Civil Designer career. Employment directly conflicts with the Freegan trait that was introduced in the expansion. Seems odd to have functions that are complimentary (and almost necessary) to each other be unobtainable without forcing your sim to deal with tension, embarrassment, and being uncomfortable. Or be a wizard 😞

The fabricator is nice, but freegans are supposed to thrive on finds. It would make more sense for them to be able to repair furniture and receive a happy or inspired moodlet. Because the smog vacuum is unique to the civil design career, perhaps just adding the option on the workbench, creating a tool bench, or adding a repair box that uses the same interface as the recycler would suffice.
