Hi. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem but after my sim collects the eggs from the chicken coop, I send him to cook some food with the eggs but the 'eggs' part of the recipe is greyed out and it says that I don't have any eggs either in the fridge or my sim's inventory and I have to sell the eggs before they spoil. Funny thing is, the Golden and Obsidian eggs don't have this problem and I'm not sure if this is a bug. I would appreciate any help I can get on this.
I will have to check again when I can, but everything was greyed out for all options.
OK, EA needs to EXPLAIN things better other than "Can be used in cooking with omelets" clicking on Cook and there is options for Obsidian/Golden Omelet and Golden eggs and toast. The Golden versions do show as 1/2, so I assume if I get a 2nd Golden egg or Obsidian I will get an option, or at least I ASSUME the option will appear when you have the proper ingredients. So as of right now, user Error and poorly explained by EA.
I am having the same issue. I have a green colored egg and it’s in the fridge and I’m trying to cook and it’s like it doesn’t exist.
