Error code 109:801

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP: Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, High School Tears, Growing Together, For Rent GP: Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Vampires, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Realm of Magic, Dream Home Decorator, Werewolves SP: Perfect Patio, Spooky, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Backyard, Bowling Night, Fitness, Toddler, Laundry Day, My First Pet, Tiny Living, Paranormal, Home Chef, Hustle KITS: Blooming Rooms, Little Campers Everyday Clutter, Greenhouse, Book Nook
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to travel to different lot
What happens when the bug occurs? Goes to loading screen, goes back to map with error code (109:801aa8b3:211f8720) telling me to relaunch game, now shows selected lot as incomplete (orange triangle). If I try to play that sim, the same thing happens. Have to exit to main menu and resume everytime I travel
What do you expect to see? Ability to travel to different lots
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The recent life and death basegame patch

I just want to be able to travel, if tried uninstall ing my mods, cleared any corrupt ones, tried different save files, no love. Please help

    Hi @SuperLokiIB 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    • Close the game again
    • Copy JUST your save game from  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
    • Start your save
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    If you do still get the error, try loading the household again after getting the error.
