Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the game in build mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? Items for career and skill branches are all unlocked, even if I haven't met the goals.
What do you expect to see? The items I haven't met the goals for yet are locked and unable to use.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

I was playing the sims today, in build mode, I was minding my own business, building a house for my legacy family, when all of a sudden I see a stolen atm... Unlocked! I haven't even tried anything in the criminal career, so I went through, and there was a bunch of other things unlocked from career branches and skills I've never really gotten that far in. I mean, cool, free stuff, but I don't feel like I'm accomplished anything, and I'm wondering how this happened. It's really strange, kinda makes goals pointless. Please help, is there a way to fix it??? I even have the easter bunny stuffed animal and I've never done the easter egg hunt.
Actually its by design, if u build a house or click on an empty house to work on and no sim lives on those lots then the items are automatically unlocked. When i start a new game and play the premades, i evict them and refix their house with some of the items, then move them back in. I don't place every unlocked item in every house but it does come in handy when i want certain sims to have the items. I've been playing that way for 6 yrs, it saves me from having every household to b in science career to unlock level 10 pc, or the other career items.
