Hi @calmhere. A new "save" means starting from "New" in Main Menu instead of loading a save file you were previously playing.
Thanks for that. But if I do that, don't I lose all of the sims I have already created?
- @calmhere This is just for testing if it occurs just on that one save or on all of them. Don't delete yours. Just make a new one, then test and check if it also happesn.
It's part of troubleshooting :DThanks. I tried a new sim and his dog in a new game but it still tells me sim not found. ☹️
Update to my dilemma with the sim id thing. I went through and changed all of my sims last and first names and made them each different. I don't know if that was part of the problem, but now it is working for me again except I found that I need a space between the first and last name which I could have sworn I didn't need before but now I do. Anyway, it is working for me again. Thank to everyone who tried to help with the problem!
