Food bounces back to the fridge

Sometimes when I try to drag food from the fridges inventory it bounces back into the fridge when I try to place it. It doesn't seem to matter what the food is or where I'm trying to place it. Restarting the game fixes it, but I'm hoping for some help so I don't have to restart my game every time. It's a consistent issue and pops up about every 2-3 real life hours. Even if I just know why it's helping with help with the irritation of it happening. I don't have footage of it happening rn, but if it happens again before this is solved I'll make sure to record it and show it if I can.
