Something strange happened with this lot. After not being able to add the new roof pieces, I gave up on that and went back to Live mode and had my Sim buy the property. My Sim then traveled there and went into build mode and -- there were all of the roof pieces I tried to place. I could tell it was those instantly, based on what I was attempting to get the roofs to work, like copying the piece next to it a lot, expanding that piece, adding different shapes, trying to add roofs on a lower level, etc., they just all appeared! I deleted all of my attempts to place the roof before and then it worked and let me place what I wanted.
Same for me when I return to lot after travelling or logging off the roof pieces are all there I can delete them but I can’t do anything else with them I just get error. Also I am building multiple homes on one lot as a challenge only thing downloaded is the lot itself from Deligracy’s tiny town challenge. I had no issues with the first house build but after I turned on rental lot this issue started with the other 2 homes. I play on ps5 so mods are not the issue.
