Frozen after update

All issues in the bug forum must be tested on a vanilla game (no mods or cc)

To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.

- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.

Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

Also few questions

• What's the error code you receive and when do you get one ?
• Is this on all save games, even if you start a new one for testing purposes ?
• Since you choose CAS and build mode, where does it freeze there ?
• Since you also choose crashing: At which point does your game crash to the desktop ?

I don't use mods. There is no error message. Whenever I try to travel or enter manage worlds or try to switch households. It also happens when I try to save and quit. And sometimes I the game won't even load, it just stays loading forever. I have to force restart my laptop.

You put that you use custom content and that you get an error code. Hence the questions and ask to test without cc.

Does it work if you play another save game ? If you enter a different household from the map, do you have the same issue ?

I gave it a couple days, deleted a family I recently downloaded, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thank you for your help
