Hi. I created a family of two aliens (YA father and child daughter) and two werewolves (one YA father and one child son) and I wanted to upload them to the gallery, But it tells me I can't because Sim name is banned. That would be fine and all, if I was told which of those four names was banned. But that's the problem, it doesn't. I thought it were the aliens' names, so, I changed them. But even after fourth try, the names aren't allowed. The current names are: G'gg G'rg and M'x G'rg. I tried those names without the apostrophes too. But I am starting to think that maybe the werewolves' names are the problem. Their names are: Sid Rex and Timothy Rex. May one of these names be an issue? Please help me figure this out.
OK, so, I went and tried to upload the two families separately and found out it indeed is the Rex family that is problematic. So, I tried to upload the two Rex Sims separately, but couldn't upload either of them. Now, that I know where the problem is, I can change the "bad" name.
But can someone tell me why the name Rex is banned? The name means King in Latin and is very common dog name that is used even in kids shows, like Paw Patrol that also has a pup named Rex. Which is, actually, why I used it as Werewolves name. It was some sort of joke. Well, now, I have to come with a new joke. But I still don't get it. What is so bad about the name Rex that it was banned?
OK, after I tried to come up with different last name for the Rex family, I found out that the name Sid is also banned. Just great. What is the chance to use two "bad" names for one Sim? And once again, I just don't understand why the name Sid is banned. Well, now, he is Hunter Reks. And yes, Reks passed through the gallery filter, somehow. I really don't get the gallery censorship, you know.
Reported the name Sid Rex in the feedback survey. Hope it will be fixed. There's not anything else I can do.
