When trying to buy a rental property, the game will try to load the rental properties and then immediately crash. I do not play with for rent often, but this was happening before. Not sure how long this bug has been going on...
I would like the opportunity to buy a rental property in game without having my game crash. Before knowing about this crash, I had not saved my game and lost about an hour's worth of gameplay. Very disappointing.
Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
All issues reported in the bug forum must be tested without.
Thank you for getting back to me! I removed all mods, cleared cache, and repaired the game. I also put a backup save on a disk...and unfortunately it is still not working :(
Did you test a new save to see if it happens there ?
