Game Freeze when Eating + TV

For some reason, every time my Sims watch TV while eating, as soon as they get up to go put the plate away, my game freezes. The only time I've been able to stop the crash is if I reset the sim before they get up and start walking.

I check my mods frequently, and they are all up to date / not corrupted. I'm using base game food, and I honestly don't know what's causing it. It's been happening since early October for me.

PLEASE!!! Fix this. I can't save progress like this, and it really sucks.
