Game freezing/crashing when using Honeydew Fields lot in Britechester

I moved a household into this lot and the game froze during live mode. After force quitting and reopening the game I used the same household to go to build/buy mode and make changes to the lot, after a few minutes the game froze again.

I used the EA app for Mac to repair the game and reopened, the game still froze in this lot on live mode. I used manage households to move the household to a vacant lot and had no issues.

I tried to go Honeydew Meadows in manage worlds to bulldoze the lot, but when I clicked build/buy for the lot the game immediately crashed. I reopened the game and tried to place a new house from the gallery on this lot and when I clicked the check box to place the new lot the game crashed again.

I haven't had issues with the game crashing on other lots, just this one. I do not use any CC or mods. Which makes it difficult to play Discover University as there are not may lots to choose from in Britechester.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Is this specific to a certain save game or do you have the issue in a new game too ?
    • Do you have any LastException/LastCrash files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
      • Delete the ones you have
      • Trigger the error again
      •  Check if new ones are created
      • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.


    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
