Game keeps deleting progress even though it was saved

When I went to continue playing the game I saved, it was gone. I tried again twice to see if it continues deleting my progress and it did. I've looked up on how to fix it. I clicked on slot_0000002.save.ver4 and renamed it do what it says to but it didn't work. I don't know how else to fix it.
