Your game is encouraging sexual molestation by allowing this to happen. I had to install a mod like MCC to stop random flirt because, unlike what happened in the sims 3 , the sim has no option to move away from the aggressor. Still, even with random flirt disabled, this continue to occur.

Try clicking on your mailbox to see if this is the case. If it is engaged then make sure testingcheats are on in your game and shift click the mailbox and you can deactivate it.

Sorry but if Freelove means that a sim can romantically kiss another without its consent and without having a romantic relationship with: that’s sexual harassment and it should be banned from the game completely. Disabling Freelove is not a solution because you will be exposing players who are unaware of that.

No one is saying they are bothered by hugging. No is saying they are bothered by nude sims. And no one is saying consensual woohoo is a problem.Additionally, just because something has been a way for a long time doesn't make it right. EA/Maxis has shown a great interest in supporting LGBT+ and BLM. I would assume that they are also considerate of victims of this type of aggression, even if all of the players are not.To be blunt male r*pe has been considered a joke for ages. (dropping the soap, for example) It's still not taken seriously by many and any positive changes regarding it are recent. So what if alien pregnacies have been in the game since Sims 2? So what if it's conveinient for your 100 baby challenge? So what if is titallating to you? Does that make it right?What would be wrong about say... adding a pop-up that asks if you want to accept the alien pregnancy? Or tweeking the free love NAP to work properly?You can call people snowflakes and say this isn't as important as other things, but why are you so bothered by the suggestion? @PorcelainMartlet I'm not talking about flirt. A neighbor with whom your sim does not have a romantic relationship, not even a friendship, suddenly jump on him and start kissing him. In real life, that is a sexual assault and people can go to jail for that. I've been playing the game since The Sims 1 was released many years ago. There was the infamous "Heat of the moment kiss" in Sims 3 University but even then, we had some control on it. By allowing that to occur autonomously, the game is sending the message that sexual harassment is okay.
I still believe this is a bug, because I cannot believe developers would include sexual harassment as part of the game.

Also, the prove of what I say and why I do believe it is a bug is this: just click on any other sim with whom your active sim does not have a romantic relationship. Then, select “Romance” from the menu and you will not find the option to kiss. That’s normal! So why an NPC can do it? I find that unacceptable.

@dmr723 OP, please confirm that you indeed have the “Free Love” NAP enabled within the affected save file. If so, then what you’re seeing is not a bug, & this thread should be moved to the feedback section.

As it stands now (& without taking sides), I fear that this thread will attract troll-minded people who’ll subsequently tank this discussion on the grounds that the semantics of “Free Love” & what it should or should not entail are being argued underneath a bug report.

In the feedback section, intended game behavior (such as this NAP, or alien abductions of male sims in GtW) can be freely critiqued. In the bug reports section, one should see threads for unintended behaviors such as toddlers still having irremovable (without mods, RIP as usual, console players) romance bars with their own parents or other adults merely due to overhearing a romantic social interaction between adults within a group chat. *Sigh*

Some of your replies in this thread have been removed as they were in violation of the Community Guidelines (we have younger simmers here too). As @Reekyteek said above this is likely the work of the Free Love action plan, they also provided steps on disabling it if you wish.

Regardless, this does highlight a potentially problematic area and I've sent your feedback up to the Sims team for looking into.

Not a bug, it is from "Free Love" action plan. I never choose it because it is honestly annoying me, having random Sims just making out with you or 5 other people on the lot, or biting your neck all of the sudden, was a bit too much especially since it always happened on my retail lot (I disabled the action plan when I figured it was that). I agree though that this should be revised, I am all for hugging, but making out randomly even if your Sim has a partner, is a bit too much for me.

It is what it is. The only thing bugging me is that NAPs are automatically assigned in a random way and people do not know until something disturbing happens. Like only today I've learned self sufficient NAP allows sims to steal your produce. I hate that I go to random neighborhood and all sims there wear paper bags on heads. Hate that with all of my heart.
Players should be able to decide what NAPs they want and where. To be put in this position can be triggering for some like for the person posting this thread.
