Not sure if this started before or after tuesdays update, since I haven't used glass roofs in awhile.
I have highest graphic settings and know to delete the ceiling on the floor below. And they have worked in the past.
Some plants look weird also, as seen from the screenshot. That definitely started after tuesdays update. I don't know if these issues are related.
rikardosofia Yeah, puzzlezaddict asked me to take a look. So, I did and found absolutely nothing wrong with the lot except for the missing items popup when you install it the first time. Then I saved and exited to the Main Menu and loaded the save again. Went to the lot and everything was still fine. Then saved again and exited the game. Started the game, loaded the save, went to the lot and everything was still fine. So, idk, what exactly is causing the issue for you since it was perfectly fine when I tested. Based on the earlier posts I thought it was probably a glitched lot but that turns out to not be the case. So, here's something you can do. Enter the lot in build mode, from the map. If you don't have a copy in your Library, then save it to your Library. After that, bulldoze the lot. Then install either the copy from your Library or download the copy in the Gallery and install that while you are still on the lot. Save, exit to either the MM or EA App. Go back to the lot again and check if it worked. It should. But if it doesn't, then you either have something else going on in the save or you have some type of mod or CC conflict happening and the lot is just making it show up. I think it's probably the latter since you said it happens in other saves. And the way to test to make sure that is the problem is to test your save with all your mods and CC out of the game. If it doesn't happen with the mods folder out, then you'll know that's it. And since you're a mod user, you probably already know how to go about finding broken mods and CC, so I won't go into how that is done. If you don't, then ask and I will be happy to tell you how to go about it.

rikardosofia I downloaded the lot but had a bunch of items replaced, including the roof. So I couldn't really do a proper test. I've asked around though, and someone else has offered to test as well.
My gallery ID is: rikardosofia and lot name is "bugged lot". There is some CC wallpaper and clutter, so custom content has to bee allowed 😊
rikardosofia I'd be happy to take a look at the lot if you want, and if I can reproduce the issue, I'll pass it around (with your blessing) to others who might want to test it too. Just list the name of the lot, and list your Gallery ID as well if it's not the same as your username here.
I don't know whether the info in your dxdiag would be relevant, but I can tell you that if anyone from EA ends up looking into the issue, they'll probably ask for one.
I was testing around and seems like the problem is with that specific lot. I started a brand new save after launching game and everything was fine, glass roofs see through and plants fine. Then I downloaded that lot from my library to the game and the bug game back. I started once again new save and the problem was still there. But then I restarted the game and then started a fresh save, everything was fine.
So the game will break if that lot is in the save I load and won't go away until game is restarted. I did originally download it from the gallery and my game crashed renovating it, so there must be something wrong with it.
I will sadly have to build a new house for my sim. I can upload the lot to my gallery if someone wants to see the problem. I can also provide the dxdiag if needed.
rikardosofia I take it the plants look like the ones on the left of this screenshot? I do remember that a couple players reported that this was caused by their mods a while back, so please remove your mods folder if there's anything inside it other than Resource.cfg. I believe that wasn't the only cause, but it's the simplest to address. If you use ReShade or GShade, please remove it too.
If this doesn't help both issues, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Laptop mode is disabled. Tried in other worlds, same problem.
Hope the screenshot now attached. The plants doesn't look like the ones in those links. They are sort of boxy 2D plants. Some trees are also affected.

Either way, please do check if laptop mode is enabled, as it can have some odd effects even when the game is otherwise running on ultra settings. It might also affect how glass roofs look.
If laptop mode is disabled, please test a glass roof in a different world, for comparison's sake.
