Glowing sim head and music

My sims recently moved to a new house and, as always, the welcome party showed up. One of my sims did a "cheerful introduction" to a neighbor and the neighbor's head glowed and music played for a second or two and then it all ended. Maybe glowed isn't the right word-- it looked like there was a sun or something behind his head with beams shooting out from it. Nothing seemed to change beyond that (at least that I noticed) and the conversation continued as normal. Any ideas of what that was? I'm quite curious. 

(I have city living, seasons, pets, get together, get to work, get famous, jungle adventure, outdoor retreat, spa day, vampires, dine out, and vintage glamor if that helps at all)

    With Jungle adventure a Sim can get a "personal sun" for a while. Perhaps that was what you saw.

    I just saw the same thing. My sim just finished exploring a temple in Jungle Adventures. Each person he spoke to after that had the same reaction. The light is behind the other sim's head, so it's not a "personal sun". I can't find any information on this other than your post. If you ever found out any more, please let me know.

    @sparilis It's a temporary effect caused by your Sim sharing blessings they got in the temple. It will have a positive effect on the Sims you encounter. It lasts for varying lengths of time either hours or days and there are different kinds of blessings. It's a little like the blessings you get from the assembled relics. Some curses can also inadvertently be shared too, so watch out for the Sneezing Curse as you could set everyone off sneezing!

    If you view the Selvadorada Statue in the marketplace by the  Selvadorada Bar she must give you the blessing!
