@itscharlotte4 Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

I have just done a vanilla test and the issue is still happening. Seems like MCCC isn't the issue but more a game bug.
@itscharlotte4 I'd suggest, then, trying to clear some things away from the plants. People in Game Issues, where I'm moving you to, might have other suggestions. If you're getting a last exception when this happens, that might be helpful to look at too.
