GTW Doctor Bugs

I recently got the Get to Work expansion pack, and I started the doctor career track. Everything was going alright at first, but then I noticed a bug where I couldn't deliver food to patients. I made food in the cafeteria first, in case that was the issue, but it just didn't seem to work no matter what. The icon to do it when I click it goes on the queue, but when it's time to go into active, it just stays in the queue, and my sim just kind of stands there doing nothing for 30 seconds, and then it just disappears.

While this was annoying at first I thought it would still be something I could work around until I realized I got promoted to the next position and to get promoted again I needed to treat patients, but to do that I had to give them an innoculation but whenever I went to do that the same thing happened as when I tried to deliver food to them making the entire doctor career of the expansion pack unplayable.

Is there any way to fix this? I should mention I have several other expansion packs installed, as well as game packs. I don't know if something is clashing with those.
