Horses keep glitching and reset button doesn't do anything

It's only happening to the horses as far as I've noticed, I can play as normal for a few mins and then at different times the horses will just freeze in their spot, but their tails and heads are still moving as if I've got 3x speed on. The reset debug button doesn't do anything and the only way I can get them back to normal is to leave the household and then reload it. It especially happens at night when they try to sleep - they won't sleep normally without this happening, but has also happened during the day. Is this a game bug at the moment or just me? Any help to fix is appreciated!
