How do I find my Origin ID?
I was asked to provide
- my email address linked to my EA account
- my PSN ID
- my Origin ID
in order to speak to someone via live chat to attempt to fix an issue with my Sims game rather than constantly being bounced between email threads with continuous handoffs between different support team members, but there's no subject under the 'Origin - Manage My Account' topic on EA Help that explicitly states 'Can't login', only variations on phrasing that often include linking the Origin account with other services. I'm autistic and require explicit instructions on exactly what I'm looking for on my screen to be able to fix things, so I don't know how I'm supposed to be able to enter a help request using the phrasing 'Can't login' in order to find the ID I used on a program that is meant to have been phased out in favour of something that feels like it's still in early access, for how functional it is (or isn't, more to the point) if no such phrasing exists under the topic tab I was meant to use.
Can someone using the English language version of EA Help who's had a similar issue in the past tell me what topic tag I need to use to be able to open a case to get my EA Origin ID info back, or just tell me if the EA ID and the EA Origin ID are the same thing and they've just been overly obtuse in asking me for it?
@MysticOrre413 Hello! I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Your Origin ID is the same as your EA ID. It should also be the same as your ID here on AHQ; mine is JonaO703 here and also in the EA app, as well as in my EA Account profile.
