How to reverse Ghost Goo effects in Sims 4? My sim drank it and has been a ghost for two days. Help!

The icon is already gone and it said only 4 hours but my sim never turned back.
I do not have any mods or CC
@vpeterson0527, I have one suggestion... have you tried taking your glitched Sim into CAS to see if that resets him or her?🤔 It's worth a try if you haven't done it yet. 🤞

Unfortunately, it did not work. I decided to work on getting my Sims' skills up to make Ambrosia to see if it works.
- @vpeterson0527 I stopped even trying the Ghost Goo. It killed my sims more than a few times. Half the time Grim shows up and just slaps me, the other half, it just kills me.
I think it actually worked for me like it was supposed to... once?I am starting to think that my sim did actually die but everything was seamless and Grim did not show up
