how to slow down time on sims 4

on sims 4 the time goes really fast and it keeps bugging me cause I want to have more time to do things in a day on sims and to not end up with my sims dying of starvation because they got out of bed really hungry and didn't have time to get breakfast before going to school or work, I have tried Meulas time clock but I couldn't get it for sims 4 and it didn't want to download so if something in the actual game that I can control in settings for time was sorted out or some sort of in game mod pack was made then that would be great thanks.

This did not slow down time but speeded it up and screwed up my calendar.

  • My problem is that it takes the SIMS too long to do normal things. So I want to slow down the time, but not the actions.  I was able to testcheat the time delay, like I wanted, but not the Needs or the "days" and work time, etc.  in 2 hours of slowed time, my SIM slept, ate, and bladder/hunger 3 times.    All I really want is the time to mimic a more realistic time frame to do everything.  Also, I gained skills at a faster pace than would be normal as well.  I guess I need a time scale that is more in tune with reality so that I can watch and play with the SIMS knowing that it isn't going to take 10 minutes of game time to walk from the bedroom to the kitchen.  etc. etc.

As long as adjusting the clock speed also effected the other time based events, such as needs, skills, work, time in activities... I would like that too... just not taking 1-2 minutes walking across the room, or 10 minutes to walk from the bedroom to the kitchen.  Not a cheat, just a time correction.

@jasonwehrman I have mine set at 110, with MC Command. It helps wonderfully!! You can raise your kids and have fun with your neighbor adult friends. 😊 I couldn't belive it was set so high, but it gives me time to do stuff. My Sulani is full of mostly family & extended family.

I’m not sure if there’s any mods that could slow down time, but what I like to do so I have time for my sims to eat before going to working or school or other stuff is when it’s time for them to wake up I pause the time and on every sim I put tasks in an order for them to do it ( For example: use toilet, shower, cook bacon and eggs, eat, watch tv if time and go to work or school.) After I do that I click the play button and they either wake up or I click out of them sleeping. Honestly that’s the only way I know how to slow down time or leave time for them to eat. I hope if you try this it helps
