How to turn off time-limited events
I want to do the Reaper's Rewards quest in one save but I don't want it popping up in every household in every save. How do I turn it off?

I want to turn it off completely. Events/challenges/quests, whatever they're called, don't interest me in the slightest. Why are they being forced into my game and even worse, why can't I turn them off?
Who made the decision that events would be mandatory? I don't need incentives to play Sims every day, but I may bow out of playing until this event has run its course. It's annoying, intrusive and a time waster.
if any one makes or finds a mod that hides this please post it to this thread, I really wanna play but everytime I think about opening it I remember that that stupid box is gonna be covering my screen ☹️
@BluJae4https://frankkmods.com/#/mods/no-discovery-quests tried it so far the quest does not trigger, so it appears to be working. (edit; the mod works to prevent the quest from launching, unfortunately the little reaper icon stays but is rendered useless)
