How to turn off time-limited events

@puzzlezaddict Thanks, it worked perfectly for me 👍, it's a shame that the online library doesn't work but at least it gets rid of that ANNOYANCE. It was irritating me 🤬

I just do not understand why they would not include an opt out button.  This is ridiculous.  I have not tried the to puzzle's suggestion.  I have been so annoyed with the whole event that I have been playing something else.
