@x48vyj8hh2g4 if you haven't already tried it you can toggle off wants and fears in Game Options. You can always get them back later but it will help. I've just had to do this myself as my Sim was so miserable despite having the skills, aspiration and love of all things sporty...she came home sobbing daily from her job as an athlete. I toggled off wants and fears and she was fine after that, like a little ray of sunshine instead lol and happy in her work!

@simsplayer818 you can but i wish wants and fears had a seprate toggle
- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@gooochyeee I do too, I miss getting the extra few reward points for fulfilling them. With it turned off my Sims are taking longer to achieve rewards.

My workaround for this problem is turn off Wants and Fears, Apply Changes, then immediately turn Wants and Fears back on, and Apply Changes. That removes the trait associated with the Fear so all I have to do is wait for the moodlet to end. It's not perfect, but it's the best I could come up with so that I can still get Satisfaction Points from fulfilling Wants without being overwhelmed by the stupid Fears.
I do mean STUPID. It's absolutely idiotic to punish Sims for getting job promotions.
