When I click on a fireplace to light it, the action disappears after a couple seconds and the sims just stands there with no further movement.
It first happend when I went on vacation with my family to granite falls. I tried it at home again an it won't work either.
yes i am using mods but also tested it vanilla, and the issue still occures in both versions
Did you test multiple lots with fireplaces to see if they all have the issue ? Also with multiple Sims ?

Yes first in my own households / lots also on vacation (granite falls), and buimding comoletely new lots an putting them there. No interaction pops up on the side
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
