I'm unable to access any households since that last Aug 19th update, even without mods or CC. I'm getting to the point that I don't want to play Sims4 at all. They can't get it together with there updates!!! Why are they so screwed up? I get the impression that they don't care.
I had this issue too! Check to see if your save files are still contained in the EA folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves). For some reason, all my save files were wiped after the newest update, but I was able to find some of them in the old Origin folder (Program Files > Origin Games > The Sims 4 > Saves), and copy/paste them into the saves folder stored in the EA folder. could you describe what issue you are seeing ? Do you not see your saves ? Does the game crash ? Booted back to the map ? Endless loading ?

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

When I try to open a household, after loading it goes right to the Worlds screen
Problem solved, it was an outdated mod. Mine was the [PimpMySims4] LGBT Mod. Should it be another mod, remove them all and bring them back one by one. I know its time consuming, but its the only way.
